kingston maurward


A bit of Raku firing at Kingston Maurward. Luckily a warm November day so not too much of a shock for the vases when the kiln was opened. The kiln is opened with the vases hot and then they are placed in sawdust to create a lustre and then cool down.

a few of the smaller glass items at the festival. I also had some small sculptural pieces aswell. no lit work as no electricity onsite. a week end of sun, sea and art, with various bands playing in the background.
